Is my Manual Transmission going bad?

I was at a stop light last night and when the light turned green i stalled the car. i started her back up and drove off. 1st was fine, 2nd wouldn't go past 3000rpm, 3rd wouldn't go past 35000rpm, 4th was fine.. i was freaking out so i drove home and parked the car. i came back 45mins later and the car drove like nothing happened.

i just now got my transmission fluid drained and changed. shifting feels even smoother. it was smooth before but now it is like silk. i am paranoid this would happen again. is my manual transmission going bad?

What do you mean "wouldn't go past 3000"

If you are stepping on the gas and the car won't go....that sounds like an engine issue

while i was in 2nd and 3rd gear the rpm would start bouncing up and down once i hit 3000rpm and 3500rpm but 4th gear was fine.... weird.

...........my automatic is "dragging", when i 1st start her up she sounds fine but when i rev high i get a late hiss sound this is even before i shift into drive or reverse! My friend was driving my car and she said she didnt come to a complete stop before she threw it in park and heard 3 clicks from under the car. Pls tell me its not the transmission the car still moves just rough through 1st and 2nd but i never tried going any faster since the incident a few days ago........03 5AT 140k+ Thanks
also looking for a suspension upgrade ride quality has been horrible!

okay let me try this again.

when i shifted to 2nd i couldn't go past 35mph/ 3000rpm the car started jerking. i shifted to 3rd and the same thing happened but this time it was 40mph i then shifted to 4th and everything was back to normal. it hasn't happened since then. The car drives just fine like nothing ever happened. its weird but it has me paranoid. i have 56k miles on it.
