Did you happen to clock a 0-60 time?

 

Stock tires... which stock tires? Do you have the winter package? Because that would mean you're running on the all-season.

I have the 6MT with the stock summer tires, goodyear GS-D. And I'm having lots of trouble with wheelhop on hard launches. Can you describe to me how you launch?

All you need is to make the sedan or coupe exaust less restrictive and you can hit 13s and 14s flat. About the 350Z you can use less restrictive cats or take the cats off and u can hit the 13s.

 

I have summer goodyear's. I took off the resonator and replaced it with a straight pipe yesterday. The sound is great and my whole club loved the sound. I can't tell a power increase, but it probably helped out some. I am going back to the track Friday to bust off a 13. I launch at about 2200 rpm and let it slip really fast. It will usually hop once or twice and then hook up strong. My first few runs last week bone stock, I was hitting second gear so hard that the back tires would spin and I would just bang off the rev limiter all through second until 60mph. Grab third really hard get a bit loose and chirp hard. And even chirp fourth on occasion! This car rocks. I can't wait for the twin turbo kit. That is my next mod.

congrats on the decent times that you've achieved...cut down maybe 1/10th of the 60" time and you'll be able to be in high 13's. BTW, were you on 100octane ??
