05 OEM Lip install

Hey guys,

I picked up a used OEM lip without install instructions or templates. Does anyone know where I can find them online or order them from?

Thanks

Did you PM Ionic? That's probably your best bet unless someone else speaks up that owns an OEM lip.

I contacted Ionic and his install points are different from OEM.

clinthammer - YES, I can wait. Don't have too many choices. Would you have templates by any chance as well?

Hey Got your PM too. I looked but don't have the templates anymore. I don't believe the dealer gave them back to me - only gave me the instructions - once they were done installing.

Hmm, what install points are different? Ionic's replica is an exact copy of the OEM lip. Pretty sure it's just a few screws, clips, and some double sided tape required for the install.

Well if you look at OEM lip and Ionic's lip you can see how it is different and he also responded to my PM stating the same thing. I guess i have to believe him on that.

I sold the lip to lox1985, I'll pay someone to send him the instructions and templates for the OEM lip.

^ Yep, the original OEM lip has two screws in the front, I believe, that are a part of the lip. Ionic's replica does not have those two screws as the replica uses double-sided tape on the front face of the bumper.

When my installer and I installed my original OEM lip several moons ago, we didn't use the templates or instructions. You just need someone who's handy with a drill and marking the spots. The other helps line up the lip.

If I can find my old instructions/template, I'll forward to you OP but looks like you're covered by Clinthammer.

Eric, thanks for the offer on payment but we don't need to go to that extent.
