Had a teaser thread going, but decided to delete it and update this thread as the work on my car progresses.

man if u go dark pimp purple i will bow down....are u experienced with painting? i wish i could paint my car by myself but wonder how much it will run me? any pointers.......

Pointer number 1, if you have zero auto body experience then don't start on your G35. Start on something smaller and less valuable.

Thanks…have a kurookie I’ve had on for like a year. Using a forum members old OEM for now while that gets prepped

Thanks. alot.…no Steve (naughty240) just did the jambs/doors/underside of hood and all the prep work and primer in there…rest is going to the shop to get done.

Wish I could paint it myself too and save $...no pointers since I suck at painting…most ive ever done is the inside of my headlights.ask steve lol

Not now. That's going to be dealt with next summer....New England winters coming quick. Adding a few things under the hood though

That first time you see ****ty brown dirty snow all over your car its gonna suck! We need a group buy on some beaters.
