I compared the sound of both the 14815 and 14830, and from my research the 14830 has a deeper/throatier sound (which is what I was looking for). The 14815 still sounds deep too, but it is also quite raspy.

I had my Magnaflow 14830 installed last week, and mated with my Coupe mid-pipe, it sounds incredible. The sound between 3-4000 RPM can only be described as god-like.

Slight drone when you let off the gas and coast to a stop at a light, but other than that, pretty quiet when you're not on it.

I'll post a startup/idle/rev/drive-away video tomorrow on my day off.

Oh and for those budget-minded G drivers, I picked up my Magnaflow 14830 off eBay from seller gemstatehp and they were great. Shipped it from Cali next day, had it in Toronto, Canada within 4 days. Asking price is $193.70, I put in an offer of $180 and they took it. $18 for shipping to Canada. Got it shipped to my door for under $200. Here's the link for anyone interested.

The 14830 and the 14815 both have the same body size as well as the same inlet/outlet diameters.Only difference are the tips. So I am not sure what you are hearing.

Anyhow enjoy!

Ordered mine today! Hopefully I can get the exhaust shop to do that flange as well. Hopefully its not too loud in the cabin... If its loud outside I wouldn't mind. I can't stand it being loud on the inside where I can't even hear the person beside me.

I love mine. I love that it looks oem but anyone who hears it knows that it's a mod. it definitely is not so loud where you can hear the person next to you . it will be louder from stop but on the highway it becomes a soft purr. I will say this, keep your original muffler. my shop wanted to scrap mine and I told them I wanted it back . if ever you feel like you can't take it anymore you can always swap it out for the original. very easy to do. 1 more thing that might make your decision easier, a while back I read a post that said automatics don't sound as good as the manuals with aftermarket exhaust
and have to agree with that person. you have much better control of the revs with a 6 speed and thus the exhaust tone is different (nicer). good luck to you

Hey buddy I'm from Toronto too, I'm interested in your exact setup and just curious how much you paid to get the coupe mid pipe and Magnaflow 14830 installed at a shop??

Also how bad is the drone going 120kph? That's normally where I cruise at on the highway.

Thanks in advance!

Does the 14830 just bolt on or is it welded to the midpipe?

14830 is not a direct bolt-on. I cut the flange and brackets off the stock muffler and had a shop weld it onto my magnaflow. you could go no flange just straight pipe. but my way gives you the option to swap it if preferred.
