gettin my recall done.. and i get a loaner car!! :)

So after debating to get my airbag recall done, last week my airbag light started blinking. I was told it would take all morning and that they don't provide a loaner for recall work... mind you, my closest dealer is an hour away.. I called the 1-800 number and told them my issue and what do you know.. LOANER CAR!!!

you don't need a loaner for this quick fix. this recall takes 0.7 hrs. i know because i just had it done. 0.7hrs is what was on the invoice, and that's how long i waited.

and you don't need warranty for this...it applies to 03-07's regardless of warranty or not.

you will more than likely get an 07-09 g35 sedan some dealers have g37s as loaners but not as many.

I work at the Dreyer & Reinbold Infiniti Dealership here in Indianapolis and we got 20+ loaners for our customers. Most of them are 2009-2010 G37X's or EX35's but we just got 3 really nice M37X loaner cars. So hopefully the dealership your going to has a M37X for you because they're awesome!

Humm I wonder if they will still do the recall when I have coupe seats in or should I swap them out for the sedans.

it applies to coupes and sedans so i don't see a problem. it's not a warranty issue, it's a safety recall.

according to the TSB/Recall information, labour is 0.7hrs on sedans and 0.8hrs on coupes.
