My car wanted to say hi!

Hey guys,
Been a member here for awhile now. I wanted a coupe at first then I changed my mind and decided a Legacy GT was the car for me. So I stop posting here and come once in a while to check out the photo section, drool for a bit and go back to subaru forums and NYCMaximas.org.

I was driving a 2000 i30 and it was lightly modded and I loved the car and the look of it. It was something unique and you dont really see many i30's modded that way but I got into an accident and it was time for me to get a new car.

Couldn't find a nice subaru like I wanted so I jumped on this G when I saw it for sale.

Its an 04, 6mt sedan with the black interior. So far I love the change from the VQ30 to VQ35. The low end torque is very noticable and I love the car so far.

Mr. Janik hit me up lastnight thru facebook and demanded pictures so I thaught why not introduce my new girl to the forum member at the same time.

Here she is.

Edit: just realized that I didnt block the plates. I will change them later. Address on the plates are not my home address anyway tho.

I see you have MN plates on the I30. Hello from a fellow Minnesotan!

Does not matter no one can look up your address from your plates. Only the police can. And Its public info any how, you see them on other cars on the street..

Sweet Sedan let the modding begin

Nice and clean. Silver is my favorite color on the sedans.

Glad you finally got these pics up!! Sucks to see the I30 go, that was a very nicely modded car, but this new G is pretty sick.

She ready for winter? Buy any snow tires yet? lol

Not true. I have the ability to look up MA plates (my state of residence)

There are people other than police that can look up info associated with lisence plates. It's easier and more common than you think. And yes, I would blur out your plate photos. There are people who surf forums looking for cars with parts they want. All they need is your plate, then they have your address and can just scout you out from there. Its only thing to hide your car in the garage, and another thing to post up an Internet shopping list of what is inside the garage.

welcome, and enjoy the ride.

this is nyghettogle from nycmaximas and maxima.org.

is not just a change from vq30 to vq35, it's a whole different world. Being on a G which tries to (but fails) mimic bmw's handling vs a boat that is the maxima/i30.

driving a g made me totally forget the maxima. Although i miss the cheap mods on it. The same exact mods made from the same exact parts on a g cost at least 60% more than the mods on the maxima. I'll never understand that, lol
