05-06 HKS owners please come in

As you all know, HKS axleback requires the following parts for install :

1.INF 08146-8252G (bracket bolt)
2.INF 20651-AF400 (hanger)
3.INF 20742-AF400 (bracket)

How many of Part#2 do I need? (hanger) I ask this because thm says that I need 2 and on b2autos page it says that I only need 1. A confirmation would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

^ Incorrect. The HKS is only direct bolt-on for 2003-2004's. For 2005/2006 sedans, you need a bracket to mimic the 03/04's exhaust mounting points. He has a 2005.

Eric, you need 2 mounts - one for each hangar/side of the bracket. B2 is wrong, TH is right. Why didn't you ask me about this before you picked up the HKS?

Qty: 1 - Bracket - 20742-AF400
Qty: 2 - Rubber Mounts - 20651-AF400
Qty: 2 - Bolts - 08146-8252G

Look at this diagram that shows the bracket:

Because I had already ordered the parts, and didn't notice until today that TH said I needed 2 hangers when b2 said I needed 1. Oh well guess I need to order another hanger. Thanks again Peter!

i have stillen exhaust all the way to the cats, it does have the 03-04 mounts (for the 3-04 owners), but 05-06 doesnt have those mounts. so u dont need em. and if you buy the hks from a retailer, it also wont come with them. why? because its not required.
you only bolt on to your hangers.
edit: shouldnt it be the same though, hks/stillen on the way the mounts are set up?

Nope, wrong again. Stillen doesn't need anything to mount it up, but the HKS does. They don't come with them because they're only required for the 05-06 guys. The vendors that sell the HKS on this site will tell you that you need the bracket to mount on for 05-06 sedans.
