ticking noise

i just started hearing a ticking noise coming from what i think is the drivers front wheel..i no its deffinatly the front..the click speeds up as i accelerate and slows down as i break..its so quiet that i can only hear it when coasting..ive had the passanger side bearing and hub assembly replaced under warrenty about 10,000 miles ago but that was more of a humming and not a click..ive checked both front tires for rocks or nails etc.anyone have an idea..and if it is a bearing i can just replace the bearing and not the hub assembly correct?..im no longer under warrenty 2005 G35x

if you are referring to the click when you first engage the car in gear and accelerate and it makes a click..its not that..that was only one click and thats it..i never had that problem this is more of a constant ticking as im moving..sounds like theres a nail in the tire but there isnt

Jack the front end up. Get both front tires in the air and give the wheels a spin. See if you can hear it that way.

click from rear wheels sounds like either a nail in your tire, or burnt wheel bearings.

Could be a rock stuck in your tire treads. I've had the same thing before, and it was due to a rock.

I hear a click when I start moving in reverse. It only does it once. Is this a common thing or something that should raise caution?
