My I-key blinks a lot longer now. Normally you start the car the green light blinks for a short while and goes away. Now its on there for a lot longer. Is it telling me my battery is low? or something wrong with the system?

Everything works and the light will go out. I read the FSM and it stated it should be a SOLID green light on if low battery but nothing as to why it blinks longer.

Most likely that's what it means. Probably it's like when you charge a battery or something the light blinks and becomes solid after its been charged but only this time its the other way around. At least that's what I think. You could also call the dealer and ask them. God for bid they ask you to bring the car in to "take a look" and charge you an hour worth of labor.

I'd change the battery and see what happens. They are only a couple bucks, its worth a shot.

from the owner's manual:
Battery life is about 2 years, although it varies depending on the operating conditions. When the battery of the Intelligent Key is low, the green blinking key warning light goes out about 30 seconds after the ignition switch is turned to the ON position.
