Re: G35 vs. Grand Prix GTP

I am upgrading just a triffle from a '97 4 cyl. Hyundai Sonata to a G35 Premium pkg/sport/aero/winter.

Insurance will cost $260 more. Not too bad I think.

Re: G35 vs. Grand Prix GTP

I have a 2000 Grand Prix GTX, which is the same as the GTP only it has performance & cosmetic upgrades such as ram-air hood, etc.

I also have a 2003 G35, both of these cars are great, i have never had a problem with GTX, its fast as hell, handles great (i have upgraded the suspension) wicked cheap to insure. The G35 is definetly a better handling and braking car but cannot compare in terms of insurance and raw torque. In terms of a race, I think the the GTX would pully the G slightly up to 100mph but it would be very close after that cause the G has great top end.

Don't get me wrong I love my G but the GTX is more fun to drive, that's why the wife drives the G. They are both good cars its just depends on what you want to spend.
