Need some help guys got an electrical problem
I left my car sitting in my driveway for 8 days, when i got home yesterday morning the car was so dead i couldn't even get a click out of the starter or any lights to turn on in the dash. After jumping and getting it running i noticed the power seat controls for my coupe driver's seat were not working at all, I had power/heated/memory seats and found a matching coupe seat so no wire splicing was necessary. I cannot access any of the wiring because the seat is stuck in a forward position that won't allow me to get the bolts out of the floor. I've noticed a few strange things since I put the seat in, first my trunk release button and panic button on both sets of my keys stopped working but the trunk can still be manually opened and the alarm still works. second my car beeps every time my door is opened regardless is any lights have been left on and lastly the lighted ring around the ignition that is supposed to light up when the car is unlocked will constantly go on and off in what seems to be 30 second cycles. I also have my radar detector wired into the homelink but this has not caused a problem in 4 years. I have an optima yellow top battery that is not even a year old. I am not sure how to handle this because the closest dealership is two hours from me and I live in myrtle beach so the idea of a quality mechanic who knows about an import is just ridiculous. Thanks guys.

I had the same problem with my seats. I just kept trying to move them and after driving a few miles the started to work. It might be as simple as you battery is not charged up enough. Just drive aroud for a while or get a battery charger. Let the fourm know how you make out with your other problems. I'm curious to see whats causing them.

got the car running back to normal after charging the battery for about a half hour but still no life from the driver seat, passenger seat is working fine and both seat heaters are working but no movement at all from the drivers side.
check your fuses, and if they are good and your wiring for the drivers side
