Where are you located? Look at the autonav2000 website, best company I have seen for after market navigation. They do fire departments in California. They are located in San Jose.

Is it an option to have the dealer install the stock NAV if I want one down the road? Has anyone had this done. I really prefer the placement and fit of the OEM compared to the other aftermarket kits I've seen.

Nobody's had that done that I know of here bro, altho some have asked. Why don't you ask your dealer about it and tell us what he says.

Re: Dealer navi vs. aftermarket navi

When I asked my dealer he said the cost is going to be around $6000... He said the large inflation of the price is because its easier to install it on the assembly line than at the dealer (I also bet its because they want to discourage this for some reason..)..He said there are lots of parts that need to be added and replaced..bla..bla..bla... Let us konw what You find
