I thought you've had your car for a while? Didn't you partially build your motor recently?

Going to 8200 rmps is not normal.

After my remap I could get mine to around 8300, but I never do, I shift @ 8k

Rev limiters are there for a reason. Usually the limiting factor is mechanical. So unless you have built a motor with internals that can withstand the higher revs....don't defeat the rev limiter.


Looks like your car may have had the rev limiter removed. Nothing you can tune with a computer will really make it safe to do this, so I suggest putting the rev limiter back, or not revving that high period.

Almost every car looses power at or before redline (a fact proven on any dyno) there is no reason to rev that high.

Keep it up and you'll be replacing motor #2 in no time.
