Need some assistance, guys (and gals). I picked up some trunk cargo nets and they are for trunks that have the emergency trunk release handle that is located on the driver's side of the trunk lid rather than the middle.
My 03 (doggy) has the offset E-trunk release, does yours? (looking for 03 non doggy, 04, 05 and 06). Can you go pop your trunk and verify these are correct for 03-06?

Any 04, 05 or 06 peoples? I'm thinking that just the early 03's had the offset E-trunk handle. I tried one out on my friend's 06 coupe and it fits too.

Mine(05) is in the middle.

Ash's doggy door has it offset near the front of the trunk, that's what i noticed when he opened his trunk lol

I think 03 doggy doors only have it this way

You and Chris finding all the little 'quirks' of the 03.0 cracked me up

 

Middle in my 05 as well.

 

Think that pretty much confirms it. 03 doggie seems to be the only offset one, while others (03.5 and up, including coupes) have the middle. The cargo nets I got only go a little over halfway the width of the trunk. There's a caution label that says not to put the netting part on the driver's side, due to it blocking the E-trunk release handle. Here's a few pics:




The cargo nets for the other models go all the way across (although this one will fit those models). Now I just gotta figure out how to move them all (got 80+ of these things). Since they're 03 doggie specific, that's gotta make them a RARE piece and be worth hundreds, if not thousands!!!
