a few questions

i have a question but so far i can think of two

1 - my power outlet in my sedan , on the driver side isnt working so great
does anyone have a DIY on how to change it or replace it or anything in that matter,

2- my g.f just bought me a nice front plate , CHROME with 3D pop out emblem and all that nice stuff

just like this --

http://www.etrailer.com/License-Plat...cs/305857.html

i was wondering how do i put it on .. do i drill hole on top of the cover piece or remove that . and screw it into there.

if i have to un screw the extra piece. that license plate dont fit snug onto there. i have about 1 inch of slack on both sides

3- does any one have fog lights on stock bumber on a 04 sedan

thanks and happy holidays

Listen to the guy who posted above me you should really search.

But it's christmas and I'm in a good mood.

1. In terms of what? Why isn't it working? Maybe take that to the random question thread.

2. Sounds like you have a front plate delete, yes that piece comes out and there will be holes there to install that piece. IMO the plate delete will look far better than the silver plate your GF got you, I suggest you put that in your windshield and keep the front clean.

3. Fog lights? Not really, anything that is going to be done is going to be custom. You can order some projectors and install them but there is nothing "made" for the car.

Rest of your questions divert to random question thread, merry Christmas.

and for the first question - like i have to turn the plug i put into it and push it hard

i know its not the fuse. its the inner metal part ..
i think im not sure if its just a pop out , and unscrew type deal

and for the front plate..

i took off that extra piece. and theres nothing to screw it into..
its just a whole and behind the whole its styrofoam .. ( sorry for the mis spell )

To mount a plate on the front of the car you have to drill into the bumper. Most on here do not have front plates because they do not like the look and do not ant to drill into the front of their cars. Someone was trying to make a way to mount to the front tow hook without drilling into the bumper, but I never kept up as to whether it was made. If it was me, I would tell the gf you appreciate the sentiment, but don't want to drill into the bumper. Ask her if you can exchange it for something else.

As for fog lights. the only routs is custom and here is a thread with a few ideas: https://g35driver.com/forums/lightin...rket-fogs.html

^Only on the 05/06. The 03/04 has a "blank" where the tag goes (standard and Nismo bumpers) once you remove that, you mount the tag.
I believe the standard bumper has spots where you put the screws, but I can't remember. I'll check my tomorrow if I remember to.

Oh, and BTW OP, Random Little Question thread is FTW!!!

I have to agree . I wouldn't ever run a front plate on my car unless it was a license plate but a logo

I agree...I'd kill to be able to run no front plate.

But for a logo plate, i wouldn't drill the bumper. Besides, logo plates seem arrogant to me. We know what kind of car you drive....don't need BMW logo plates and lisence frames on it too

^IKR? I thought about that when I posted. I typed out a couple different things, then decided instead to leave it open-ended
