Valet broke my iKey
Well, this is why I hate valet parking. I should have used the valet key, but I gave them the damn ikey instead.
Got the car back, and the damn intelligent key fob looked like it was dropped as the unlock button was missing and the case partially open.
Hotel said they would cover replacement cost, but all i need is a damn unlock button. Rather not go through the trouble of buying a fob and having it programmed.
Anyplace I can buy just the outer plastic body?
Sure i can go to dealer....but I'd rather not take my car there. Seems like every time the damn car is out of my hands something happens. I just want a new ikey plastic case

The key...next to my other never used ikey remote. In fact, the battery in the 2nd remote is dead and has been for a while. I really wish i just had the button. it would prob snap back into place. I'd rather keep the "beat up" key in my pocket vs use the new key for some reason. I'm still using the broken key fob...i never hit the buttons anyway

Thanks. Tried some different search terms and found used cut keys for sale for cheap. Got a bid riding on one for under $10. Just get it and swap in my key and electronics and call it a day.
Then I'll send them a copy of the invoice

They need invoice...so I'd need to actually fix it first then send them the bill.
I took the easy way out. Purchased a used remote on eBay for $10. Swap the case and call it a day.
I don't need another remote that I'll never use, and i don't want to take a day off from work to go to the dealer. My time is valuable so just swapping the case is quick and easy to me.
