help me identify this part. Pics inside

I have an oil leak that seems to be coming from the top of this tube. Oil is running down it and dripping off once it turns. can anyone tell me what it is and what is does?
The tube comes from right above the oil filter , runs across the bottom of the engine, then turns up. I can't see where it goes after that.

middle picture is taken from bottom up. thats where I don't know where it goes.

staff, Mod, feel free to move this to the engine section if it fits better. I didn't see that before.

http://

That tube is part of the coolent system.

EDIT: after it goes upward it turns and runs along the block (drivers side) towards the back to the fire wall. Either you or someone spilled oil or your valve cover is leaking. I say that, due to the amount of oil on the tube.

Well if that's a water line (as it would appear from that post) then the oil isn't coming from it, it's coming from somewhere further up and dripping down the outside of that line.

Its not uncommon for the oil cooler O-ring go bad. If that is the case, you will need to drain the oil, remove the 22mm (7/8) hex-head screw that the filter connects to and replace the o-ring. Not difficult really, but it happens. Apparently a lot more common than a lot of people realize on this engine.

I had an oil drip when the o-ring on my dipstick was damaged - check your dipstick o-ring and see if there is oil dripping around it.
