Hey, I'm trying to get my reverse lights out. I know the trunk liner removal is self explanatory. But I just can't pop the green "pull" T shaped lever out. This is the lever that opens the trunk from the inside.

Can anyone help?

I use a plastic tool to pop it out. maybe a very small flat head will help. It has 2 spots that hold it in..

Remove cover and both lights are held in my 8mm bolts. After bolts are out you may need to apply a little bit of pressure to get the light to pop out.

 

Thank you!! lol I wanted to make sure it can be popped out because I didn't want to snap the plastic and it's held really tight on my car.

 

Strange, I don't recall having to remove that to take out my reverse lights...

 

definately dont need to remove the liner, I just pulled 2 of the little platic retainers on each side and was able to pull mine easy enough

 

Yeah, after removing the liner I realized this would've been much faster. Thanks for the help guys. This forum is the best.
