DIY nismo rear lip install?
#32
Installation note
Nice job Rob, you beat me to it. You up for a DIY?
Some inputs from my installation for you soon-to-be the rare Nismo lip owners:
1, if possible, get a step drill bit, it'll cover the different size holes to be drilled;
2, the tape measure I used was the paper one from a sewing pack, it has metric unit and it's easier to handle. Any supermarket should carry it;
3, get the instructions on how to remove the rear bumper;
4, watch out when you get to step 19 on page 9, there are two M6 x 16 screws each side to secure the rear lip from inside the bumper, do not lock them too far in, and add extra washers to prevent them from poking out to crack the surface of the rear lip.
Hope these help. Any other inputs are welcome.
