DIY nismo rear lip install?

Hey guys does anyone have a DIY on installing the nismo rear lips? I dont know if any of you have ever loked at the OEM intructions that come with it but its looks like chinese to me, its more than confusing. Any tips or anything anyone has would be great

Sorry Mike, I was gonna put mine on soon, but got rear ended the other night and that will put off the install a few more weeks. I might be looking for YOUR diy when you get it put on.

haha its the most confusing thing ive ever seen lmao

Sorry to hear that man that really sucks, hope everything turns out in your favor tho haha

And if i can even figure it out ill try to take pictures of the confusing parts lol

The ones it comes with are the best. Just go step by step and get a metric ruler. Use the templates and follow the pics. Its not hard if you take your time.

did you buy it new? You were supposed to get templates for the bumper where to drill the holes.

I've got the templates and the instructions(there in english just VERy confusing, which i said they were like chinese).

I can barely understand the directions, the termonology used is very confusing and some of it is just plain confusing

Yo let's make a DIY. You have to drill holes??? I mounted a Stillen rear lip so it shouldn't be any harder than that!

My friends and I just eyeballed my Nismo rear and by some miracle it turned out perfect.

Before you start, make a couple photocopies of the templates, and use the copies instead of the original. The templates are to be cut off and placed at certain area of the rear bumper for you to drill the mounting holes - yes you have to drill holes. Drill the holes while the bumper is still on the car. Read the instructions a few more times it'll make sense to you.

^ great idea, i have been reading it a lil bit here and there and some points are making sence.

What is the "stagger" of the bumper? lol

^ it means where the black (unpainted) lower section meets the painted part. Just point the index on the card board template to the stagger to mark the drilling point.
