That's insane. Glad you're ok, but I'm not gonna lie, I'm somewhat impressed the car flipped and still drove home. Wow...

Air bags did not deploy. VDC light is illuminated when the car is running. I started the car up earlier to move it a little out of the spot it's in for the tow driver. Light is stuck on.

Did it run rough or drive weird after you flipped it?

It didn't drive rough or anything! Drove straight as an arrow! Not lying. However yesterday I started it up to move it a little so the tow driver today can get it hooked and I noticed a really bad smell of gas right away. I shut it off. I don't see gas leaking anywhere. It may just be a massive exhaust problem from the hit? Not sure but I was scared when I smelled the strong gas odor so I turned it off. Scary stuff, man. Thanks everyone, for the compliments. I have to say it took a LOT of guts to drive that thing outta there and get myself home. I am not the type to just lay helpless when crap happens in life. Everyone I told the story to said "how come you didn't just pull it over on the highway and wait for the cops to tow it?" It honestly did not cross my mind. What entered my mind was, this baby has no flat tires, it's moving, hell no, I'm driving it outta here and getting it home where I know where it is, and I'm not involving cops or ambulances who want to take me to the hospital for "precautionary" reasons. I knew we were both fine and just wanted that car off the highway. It honestly was what you would call a "near death experience". I guess it's a lesson to me to SLOW THE F*#K down. I LOVE speed and this car brought it out in me for the past two years. Driving fast on the highway in winter probably not a good idea, because though the road looked deceptivey dry, I guess it had not been. I guess I have a lot to learn about my speed addiction and what can happen when you're STUPID. Now that it's all over and I'm out of shock I'm beating myself up for the stupidity of speeding like that. I could have killed my friend or paralyzed him, or myself. WTF...

^Yeah, during winter weather expecially when tempterature are below freezing, we must drive moderately and not to overspeed because there are hidden ice patches everywhere on the road. Take care and good luck with the car.

well first off, glad you and your passenger were ok. rolling a car like that and being able to drive it home speaks highly of our cars.

and secondly, im just wondering why dont you have the g35x bumper with the extra vent in the middle?

Glad your ok after that! I didn't hear about you sh*ting yourself when you flipped, because i know i would have. These G's are amazing when it comes to a major crash because your the 3rd person to walk away alive that should be dead. Glad that your staying w/ the G's w/ your next perches.

Wicked that the car still drove after that. Glad both of you are ok and safe, that is the most important thing, people make mistakes.

you've mentioned how you have a lead foot but you weren't even going THAT fast when this happened. just crazy, looking at the damages. your body is going to be quite sore in a couple days if not already.
