Naw Cremaster. It happened Friday night. No aches or pains. Nada. Why? Because most aches and pains from accidents are from the stress not the injury. I'm not injured at all.

Also I am prone to extreme worry when stuff like a car accident happens and my neck and back start hurting from the stress setting in but I have only gratitude that I did not get hurt nor my friend. I have NO reason to feel anything but incredibly blessed. I would not be able to live with myself if just imagine... I could have killed my friend, or paralyzed him. Kinda makes the regret and worry about the car loss and insurance surcharge null and void. Ha ha, I am driving a Hyundai Sonata rental. No comparison!

Glad to hear that you and your friend are ok! On a side note it's great to see that the G is such a well built car. Hope you the best with your new G.

Thanks everyone, and nope, no ahces or pains. Read a book by Dr. John Sarno to learn all about how the mind induces pain when we get in car accidents. It's amazing how much of the pain is from worry and tension from the trauma of it all. I am okily-dokily.

glad to hear you guys made it out alright.
accidents are always a bad experience.
good luck with everything.

this is the vent the 05/06 G35x is supposed to have on the front bumper.
I highlighted it red.
I know its a bad picture but I took it with my cell phone at night.
It serves its purpose tho.
I've never seen an 05/06 x without the vent before
I was wondering about that too.

Wow, I have no idea why my car didn't have that. That to me looks like the spot where the license plate goes. Here in MA we have a plate on the front and on the back and that's exactly where it would go so no idea.

Yes, tow came today and took it away. I am so glad because I couldn't bear looking at it one more day, it was too depressing of a reminder of the traumatic event. The appraisal/total declaration is tomorrow at which point I give the insurance co my title then they mail me a check. Would love to know what I'm getting. The lady at Liberty Mutual said my best bet is to go to NADA and see the value of the car. I did and I have no idea what they'll give me still cuz to me the car was mint inside and out but they may try to low ball me.

Mary, I'm sorry to hear about your accident. I also live in MA, and have also flipped a car. I'm glad to hear you and your passenger were unharmed. Best of luck with the '07 G35.

If they do try and low-ball you, you can usually do a little squeezing and get them to offer more.
They're required by law to show you every single bit of information they used to determine the value they quote you. (but they don't like to)
If they low-ball, ask to see all that information. For one thing, making them provide all that is effort on their part, plus you can go through it with a fine-tooth comb and pick it apart, countering with your own information form NADA/Kelly/etc...
