I have a 2006 G35 Sedan. Right now, I'm pretty sure it has the basic stock sound system. (Bose side speakers with the big Bose box between the back seats?)

What I'm wondering, is what system would be an affordable step up that's worth my money that I would be able to combo with a kicker/sub in my trunk.. Without it sounding horrible (grumbly, unclear, etc.) So what's the best bang for my buck as far as system upgrades?

Would you guys recommend I change out everything? or would I be good keeping the stock Bose and just throwing a sub/kicker, w/e you wanna call it, in the back? I mainly listen to Dubstep and Rock, so I just want that strong bass punch. Not trying to knock frames off walls when I pull up or anything, just something stronger than what I got now. How much would I be lookin at cost wise?
