You should be able to see the bushings sticking out each side and they should be in good shape. If it's centered you ahould be good there. Remember to check the bushings on the compression rods as well, they are right above the LCAs. You can see a curved part of one in the top left of the second pic.

I had the same problem it ended up being the sway bar end links, my car made a weird clunking sound and the front end felt like it was loose when I went over bumps, I changed all of them and now my car drives like new again there not that expensive I paid like 110 for all of them from a local dealer...

Look at them but the 05 and up had improved endlinks and have been shown to be able to put up with lowering and suspension modifications. Still doesn't mean they won't fail.

Its very likely your SHOCK MOUNTS. Those go bad - I replaced mine at 120K miles and the clunking I had went away.

TBW are those the triangular pieces at the top of the shock for the fronts? The service manual calls them the mounting insulator. If they are, that wouldn't explain the clunking issue for people with new or fairly new coilovers unless the coils themselves are either substandard or damaged.

Yes I also replaced mine on one side after doing suspension work and it was clunking like crazy over bumps.
