I'm in Columbus, Ohio. We have only one Infiniti dealer, the nearest competitor is probably a hundred miles away, or more. Pricing doesn't seem to be as awesome as you California and Texas people are getting. Heck, even carsdirect.com will sell me what I want at a no haggle price of $700 over invoice if I lived in CA. Last time I checked my Zip, it was about $500 under MSRP. That's a nice savings you CA people are automatically getting.

So, what have those of you in a single dealer large metro area been paying over invoice (no taxes, trades, EPA, tints, wheels, etc charges added, thanks)? Just the OEM vehicle... $500, $1,000, $2000?

Thanks

Re: Price $ in single dealer towns?
I tried to get a car from a dealer in Cleveland. Bedford Infiniti... I do not recommend them. They would not budge from MSRP. I was ordering a 6MT with premium, aero, winter, navi. My parents live in California, and we ended up getting the Costco price which is $1000 over invoice. The dealer knocked off an extra $400 to defray shipping costs. I put my deposit in yesterday. Should get the car in 6 weeks. You can talk to Hiro at Infiniti of Motclair... Very good guy.

Re: Price $ in single dealer towns?
In Seattle, Washington, the dealer here would not budge on their MSRP at all. That was 3 months ago. But I can understand them. They told me they had no problems selling at their MSRP and didn't see a reason why they should budge at this point. Makes sense for a business. So I ended up going to North California and was able to haggle off up to $2200.

Yea, Cali seems to have some good deals from what I've seen. And Doc_z is right on about going with Hiro out at the Montclair Infiniti dealership, he is the fleet manager and I just bought a Black G35 with premium package, sport suspension, and full aerodynamic body kit last week, and I only paid $400.00 over Invoice! Give him a call if you're interested and tell him "Dr. Maloney sent you" and he should hook you up.

Re: Price $ in single dealer towns?
Well, I was really hoping to find out what people outside of California were paying, particularly those in single dealer towns.

Thanks

i think the guy at bedford was fine. i just dont think that the sales of the cars in ohio.. where i have only seen 2 cars on the road in northeast ohio warrants getting msrp. just my opinion. im glad i looked into buying it elsewhere... saved almost $2000
