I have an 03 sedan and I recently found out that my a/c belt was tore so I cut it off today so it wouldn't break off and mess anything up..I have a question would it make the compressor or anything freeze up if I drive my car or do anything If I don't have the a/c on because right now I don't have the funds to go to nissan and get it fixed..please help..and thanks for all feedback.

Nope the compressor should'nt freeze up as long as you don't operate the A/C

 

dont take it to nissan or infiniti

take it to a local shop

should be a quick 30min to an hour

and the belt is $20

 

Thanks guys Lol When I saw blow up I was like damn..then I saw J/k Lol...Well I went to autozone and bought a belt just now.Is their a diy video on here ?I know theirs a tut but it's not a video..also thanks for the replies much apprciation

 

when putting on the a/c belt do I got to take off the other belts also..?

 

I cant remember the exact routing, but its pretty easy

find a diagram and then just mirror what you see

If he has the dogga door with the mechanical fan, it's about the same. But you have to work the belt over the fan. Not hard but sorta tedious
