I don't believe so. different front and rear gears would create a problem. Rears would spin slower than fronts when awd is engaged. Higher ratio will mess up vdc and awd together

You would have to change the final drive of both front and rear at the same time... I haven't heard of anyone doing that in the G world.
I know Subaru guys do it sometimes, but it's neither cheap nor easy.

My buddy has a jeep and he wants to change his gears too, 4X4 has to change both so we've been talking about it a bit, easy for me to respond. Glad to help

The X already has the 3.54 gear set, front and back. So yes, it will work. The only advantage to this swap would be if the pumpkin you're swapping in has a VLSD.

No it won't work. At least not without modification. The G35X has a different pumpkin than the rest of the G35's - like everything else.

Like mentioned aboved - the G35X come standard with 3.53 gearing in both front and rear differentials - both are open diffs.
