My 1 month old G35 white sedan
Alright, so I picked up my baby on my 20th birthday which was about 1 month ago. It is an 04 auto sedan with 50,000 miles. I live in Downey, (562) so if you see me around be sure to say whats up!
This is what I have done to it so far..
INTERIOR: I changed the courtesy door lights, dome lights, and map lights all to superwhite LED bulbs. I also put in 2 12" subs and added an IPOD/MP3 Auxiliary to the stock stereo.
EXTERIOR: I have tinted all the windows 20%, and also tinted the front windshield 50%. I have put in clear corners and changed the bulb to superwhite LED. I changed my HID bulbs and installed a HIDS on my fogs (both of them are 8000k). I also changed the parking light bulb to a superwhite LED bulb.
ENGINE: I installed an injen cold air intake. I also removed the muffler and welded a custom exhaust (axel back). I also removed some plastic from the bumper so that the cold air intake will get more air flow, see images below.
Im thinking about getting either gold or black rims, and debating about getting springs. I have posted a thread about possible rims that I might get from my cousin. Heres the link to that thread https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...-question.html

This is what i meant by removing part of the plastic...the filters now visible.

Got comments or suggestions, well let me know! I accept both positive or negative feedback!

Its an older model injen cold air intake, I bought it used off someone for $100 bucks
The custom axel back isn't brand name. I went to some muffler shop and he did it for $90...It sounds super clean, no drone or anything. Once i get to 3k RPMs you can hear it roar. I will try to upload sound clips tomorrow, I don't want to wake up the neighbors lol.

You're going to have problems throwing an engine light in the rain with your intake there.

When it rained this past week I went ahead and removed the intake and made it into a short ram with all the extra elbow pieces i have.
Your custom rain guards pretty sick too, save me time from switching from cold air to short ram
I was in Whittier today! My friend lives off Carmenita/ Mulberry!
Yeah, in response to your PM, you should be fine with the short-ram version.
It won't sound as good though.
And don't expect that intake really gains you any hp at all.
The rain-guard would only take me a few minutes to remove, but I never bother.
The fogs are going to be useless, just an FYI. I'm sure you did it for looks, but functionality-wise they serve no purpose. Then again who am I to talk running a pisston of negative camber and extremely stretched tires bahaha.
As for the wheels, I say get a drop first. IMHO, it doesn't look good when you have upgraded wheels and riding up high. You're better off lowering the car and even throwing on spacers. Just get the rear fenders rolled. Hit up ShanesG, let him know I sent ya and he'll hook you up with rolling your fenders.
