Angry Memory help

I just changed my battery and now my seat won't automatically adjust itself when i turn the ignition off and open the door. (I have premium model)

Yes, I did read the manually and searched and set everything correctly, the indicator light is fine with what i read but it will not move back to the original position when i open the door and adjust itself to the position I made it memorize to be when i turn the ignition on.

I don't know if I make any sense because im pretty **** how complicated they made everything for this car

I just want my automatic memory seat back!

Its like your radio presets, once the battery has been completely disconnected you have to restore everything manually. Just move your seat to where you want it, and add it to the memory... Its not that complicated, might take you a whole minute.

It's not the memory seat thats the thing...what ima tryna say is it won't adjust itself automatically even when it says i DID set the seat to what I want. Like when you get out of your car it the steering wheel wont move up by itself n the seat dont move back like it used to be back then automatically.

I know how to set the seat, thats not the issue.

Make sure you don't have the automatic position cancel switch on.

Disregarding the opening-the-door part, if you're sitting in the car, "memorize" that current position, then move the seat manually to some other position, and then hit the button so that it goes to the memorized position - does that work?
