My popcharger has melted
Well after 3 years the glue that holds that rubbery stuff from the JWT heatshield to the intake has decided to give way.
Considering my car is stock apart from the intake, I hoped it would last longer.
Anyone else had this problem and what did you do to replace it?
Cheers.

I did something stupid and threw it away in disgust(it was in for a rego inspection when I noticed it). It never fit properly anyway - what's with that?
I'll see if they are kind enough to replace it for me as well. It's a shame, I think the quality of the pod itself is very good.
Cheers.

Once I get my comp hooked back up I'll put a newer pic up ...after a tune on the dyno it was suggested that I make the ram functional again to alleviate heat soak as much as possible so we rotated the intake so that it perfectly utilizes the ram and blocks the...well...the block as a real heat shield should!
