Angry Piece of

I bought my 04 infiniti g35 a little over a month ago and I was perhaps hit in a parking lot and this piece is missing so I must replace it. Hit and runs and steals my piece. I don't know what this piece is called so can anyone help?

The red circle is the piece I need, mind you it is not my quarter panel its part of my 'kit'. The black part, its about a foot in length if that narrows it down. The Infiniti dealer had no idea what to call it, but called it an 'aftermarket piece', thanks Infiniti. Anyway, anyone know what the piece is called? Thanks a bunch

Its called the mud gaurds,
I have some for sale but for 05-06, they will fit but the shape will be off unless you swap to a cleaner 05-06 bumper.

hope it helps.

I don't think that's it, but we're getting there... It's the bottom part also. I'll take a picture of my car tomorrow without it, maybe that will help. Thanks, though.

No, boosted was correct. They are called "Mudguards" by the Factory Service Manual.
Trust me on this one, I've been through it when swapping to the 05/06 rear bumper.

Also, they're overpriced from Nissan/Infiniti.

Your best price will be from a scrap-yard, but trying to explain to them the exact part is difficult because very few cars even have a separate part there. 99% that part is just molded in with the bumper... oh but not so the G35

Anyway, 05/06 versions will not fit, there's an alignment pin that will be in the way, also they're shaped wrong anyway and painted to match the car. So you wouldn't really want those unless you want to move up to the 05/06 rear bumper (like I did) which does look pretty nice.

Thanks ash,

OP I think what you thought i was talking about was called splash guards, those go over, but the part I am talking about is the plastic part that goes under thee rear quarter panel, First time in my life It wasnt part of the panel. like he said ^ damn nissan lol

so we should be right unless you lost part of your actual rear bumper, in that case you should do a 05-06 swap and buy my mud gaurds

BUMP: Sorry, was on vacation

OT: Do you know where I could get this piece, other than a junkyard or scrapyard. Perhaps, an OEM retailer?

You could get them from any Infiniti dealer, but they're expensive.
