Moving on
If the two front lose traction the two rear will keep the car going in the same direction until the front catch. AWD is proven to be better in almost every situation (mud, water, dirt, sand, road). Audi made this apparent in the rally world. Yes a experianced and skilled driver can do fine with RWD, but that doesn't make it equal to AWD. There is a reason the G is offered with AWD as is the rest of the infiniti line up.

I live in Minnesota buddy. Been there done that in snow, rain, ice and slush. AWD is not necessarily 'the better bet' as long as you have good tires.
Subaru's are great, but IMO not classy like an audi, and i wanted leather, power everything, and speed. What Subaru comes with all that for under $20k if at all?
You can deny that traction is better for AWD in wet conditions but i will have to strongly disagree after owning and driving a FWD, 4WD, RWD, and now AWD vehicles. Everyone is entitled to they're own opinion, even if it defies logic
I understand your point that a rwd car can hold its own with good tires on wet roads. Like i said, i would rather have 4 wheels wrapped in that good rubber that are controlled and not "dead" wheels.

May God have pity on your soul when you start to have turbo and boost issues with that car....and you will. There's a very good reason why this gen S4 is so cheap to acquire. There isn't one person I know of with an Audi or VW (same company) that doesn't spend a large sum of money annually in repairs. Not talking maintenance either. These cars give the perception of quality, but look at long term dependability of Audi/VW and they are near the bottom of the list. Those turbos are so confined that getting them out requires disassembly of the entire front end. You're wise to have a 2nd car because you can be assured you'll need it when that S4 goes down.......often.

Yes there is a reason race cars are RWD, traction is not one of them...which was what we were talking about.

2008 Spec B Legacy GT.

And honestly, these cars are way classier than some crappy old B5 Audi A4/S4 which has become just as much of a boy racer mobile as an older WRX. Except when this car breaks, it won't cost you your first born to fix it.
BTW your video is moot. The people in the non AWD cars just floored it and expected the cars to go places? no. Tires aren't working if all they are doing is spinning.
Subaru with leather and all the **** for around 20k?

Anyways...A Subaru Legacy, really? I guess our definitions of fast are different. Im sure you see tons of b5 s4's ricing it up like slow WRX's
But like i said i wanted something fast and im willing to work on the car and pay for the parts. If you want a really reliable car, stick with the g. Its a great reliable car and i loved it. Haters going to hate.
Jeff, no use in arguing with him. He has 2 extra front spinning wheels that makes him far superior in driving period and his car god like. Every car should be standard with AWD.
