2003 G35 sedan problem... Need help!
First off I'm new to the forum
I drive a 2003 Infiniti G35 sedan pearl white automatic.
With all that out the way, i have read some reviews on the 2003 g35.
I currently have the problem that most owners get.. Center console is frozen.
Can't control the ac controls and radio won't turn on. I know the circuit board goes bad on these cars. And so they say it's a recall from factory.
1. Where can I get a circuit board?
2. If I replace the oem radio with a double din will that fix the ac problem?
3. Since this is a so call recall from factory will Infiniti "honor" the recall?
Been driving like this for 2weeks and it's getting annoying/frustrating.
Any help would be appreciated.

I wouldn't waste your time and money with another oem radio. Even if you can find one that still works, there's a pretty good chance it will do the same thing eventually.
If you get a double din, then you have to replace the stock a/c controls because they are completely integrated into the oem circuit board. You have a couple of options depending on how much your willing to spend. This thread is very helpful about the parts and install:

You probally want to do some searching as well cause there is a lot of info in that thread

best option is to call a mobile audio repair guy, especially if they have experience w/out cars and that particular problem. a lot of time's that's who the dealer sends your **** out to anyway and they just mark it up. i got mine and my wife's both fixed for like $200 w/a 1yr warranty. from what he explained, there's a weak component somewhere in there and they replace it and fortify it to make it even stronger. they come to your house and pull the whole deck and comeback and install it when it's fixed.

I'll most likely look into a audio repair service first. Got a couple places around my area were they work on stereos/electrical components.
As for the double din I'll look into that site/thread, most likely it won't be happening due to the fact that it does sound pretty costy.
Thanks for the information guys.. Anymore would be appreciated.

If anyone is selling a good condition radio with circuit board still good I'll buy it.
I bought the car with the intenstions of leaving it stock.
If I can't get the oem radio, ill purchase a double din.
But when the double din is installed will I be able to control the ac unit???

There are only two types, ones that are broken, and ones that are going to break.
The first owner of my car had it replaced under warranty, guess what? Yep, it broke again.
Your end-all solution is just to replace the piece of crap unit with a JDM Double Din kit (or Metra if you're cheap) and a good double din radio.

There is no such thing as a good condition radio in these cars.

i had the same problem on my G, the first was done under warranty since it was under 30k.
The second time, I sent it to www.radiomedics.com, I think there about 200 or you can get a double din
