Heating/Cooling switch

Re: Heating/Cooling switch
Yah..
It's an easy fix.
Just reverse the polarity so that the electrons run in reverse.
That way they'll take the heat out, instead of putting it in.

Re: Heating/Cooling switch
I can't imagine living in a hot/worm state-I think being hot is the smaller of the two problems. I would focus your energy on trying to get the worms under control. Maybe you could convert the seat heater switch to a switch that sprays a worm killing pesticide....or use that reverse polarity thing to create an electron beam an fry their a$$. Hope you can get your worm situation under control.
As for rearly using the heating feature- Isn't that statement kind of redundant...of course you use it on your rear! Infiniti got it right when they put the seat heaters where your butt goes.
Hope all my smart a$$ comments have helped
Good luck,

Re: Heating/Cooling switch
I started to reply to this post in a smart-aleky tone,
but thought I would just sit back and watch the flames!
This bon-fire is still growing, where are the marshmellows?
03 5AT Sedan, sunroof, splashguards, HKS muffler,
14 wire Grounding kit, Z Duct, Stillen HF/AB
Underbody rear diffusers, Drilled alum pedals,
Stillen sway bars S/H. Sport Tuned Suspension

Re: Heating/Cooling switch
inTgr8r,
Have your tried it (or know someone that did)...
Do you know how to do it? dealer?
I dont want to miss with electrons and then be setting on an oven all day long....
Not only marshmellows would be on the menue, prety much every thing esle would also be there...

Just kidding....
Seat cooling is an entirely different function
requiring cool air ducting from the A/C system.

Re: Heating/Cooling switch
It would also require different cushions with perforations in the foam and perforations in the leather seat surfaces. Then you'd also have to wire in a fan to circulate the air through the seats.
Anything is possible, but it just takes money. The easiest way would likely be to get a set of seats from a wrecked car that has the seat coolers. Of course you'd then have to fabricate mounts, controls, etc. You could also check with a re-upholstery shop to see what they say re retrofitting your current seats.
