Thanks for the props guys I appreciate it.

This site kicks ***! So whatever I can do to help the members (no matter how small), im in!

It looks like the site I joined to host this DIY is redirecting my link!!!
So, I just posted the following in the DIY post for this install. Let me know if you know of anyone.
Thanks!

Yeah guys, this sucks and I appologize.

It was working fine (and still works) but now the site is redirecting the link to the "Join Now" page.

Workaround:
Your going to have to type the link into your browser to get it to come up.
Just cut and paste the below link into your browser<br> leivafam.freewebpage.org/2005RearLightInstall.pdf
This should! bring the page up without being redirected.

If anyone has a website that can host this, I would greatly appreciate it. Maybe one of the admins of G35driver.com could post this for us? Its only a 300K file (thats why I went to pdf format, to shrink the size down from 1.8MB)

PM me or post here if anyone can help get this DIY posted how it should be, im out of resources.

Thanks!

I really hate to rain on everyones parade here.
I must admit, I was ready to place an order too.

I followed an '05 sedan to work today. It was still half light, so he
still had his lights on.

IJMO, but....
I've changed my mind completely on the new lights;
I much prefer the old ones.
The two circles & the protruded shape just don't appeal to me.

If you can stand to wait a while, it might be worth seeing them on the road.
Then you can be sure about spending the $$

I've seen them on street and sat in couple. That's y I decided to buy it. As the old adage goes, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I don't hate the old style either.

For those interested in just the '05 Sedan reverse lights (no brake lights), www.EverythingG35.com has a set for $53.60 + shipping. Just call (888) 216-5328 and ask for Justin. I just placed my order! And, thanks again G35Papa for your hard work on the DIY install for the new '05 lights!!!

G35papa,

Can you post the part numbers for '05 tail lights, both the tail lamp and reverse light? Thank you.
They faxed me a copy of invoice today but it didn't say 'O5 lights so I just want to make sure if our part numbers are the same. Again, thank you.

Here's my partnumbers:

INF 26555-AC725 for taillamp
INF 26550-AC725 for taillamp

INF 26549-AC500 for reverse light
INF 26544-AC500 for reverse light

i paid under $450 for the taillights AND reverse lights including shipping. i'm not being a smart-***, but $50 can change your mind on buying them or not. it is more than 10% off what you thought you would pay for them...

oops, forgot to mention - got them from http://www.everythingg35.com

AND i bought the 2 sets at 2 different times! maybe you'll get a better deal for buying the taillights and reverse lights together.

That's why I ordered just a set of reverse lights for my '04.5 Sedan for $53.60 + shipping from EverythingG35.com...I like the way they look in combination with the '04 brake lights. I also think $400+ (for all the '05 rear lights) is a bit steep for an aesthetic mod (unless it's a complete aero package, wheels, or something like that). I guess those brake light assemblies are very expensive.

I'll post my prices so that you can all get a great deal
(maybe do better )

http://www.everythingg35.com
Talk to Justin
Reverse Light Set - $53.60 + shipping
Taillight Set - approx. $383 + shipping
(I bought the sets separately at these prices, so you might get a better deal all at once)

I don't remember the exact price (to the cents) on the taillights, but that's close.

Shaun

Sorry about the confusion on that stuff. Here's the deal...

$53.60 was for the lens and housing, which is all that is needed. However, they are backordered through Nissan currently and I don't have an ETA when they'll release. (Those of you who already placed an order, if you haven't received it yet, don't worry, you'll see the inner lamps within the next few days).

The new price you see on the website is for the whole inner lamp assembly (includes bulb, socket, etc..). I realize it's a little bit higher, but it still includes the same pricing discounts off of the list price and it is currently available through Nissan Motor Co.
