Very, very nice.

If my G was worth more, I would definately consider trading it in for the 2005.

Definately and upgrade. I wish they did the bottom skirts painted from the start. Oh well, I still love my G.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the great pics Dirtybear. But man this is torture, we still have to wait for ours. I also noticed it had the splashguards, I didn't order mine with them, but I must say they look good, I might change my mind.

Very nice.

Those wheels are different than the '04's correct?

Are they the new standard AWD wheels?

Are they still 17"?

How do you like the gray interior?

What color is the carpet around the floor - it looked tan in the pictures (but I could be color blind)?

Sorry for all the questions. I'm beginning to wonder if I should have waited :-( Oh well, I only have 21 months left on my lease.

Ugggg now I am wondering if I should have waited too! (

My car was hit just recently so when I take it in to have the ding fixed I am going to get them to paint the black skirting around the car...it should look good! I hope it's durable though. I love the new tail lights...I did see one ahead of me on the highway and I was green with envy! lol

Well...I have 3.5 years left on my lease...so I have no option but to wait....sad but true!

Awesome looking car though...but I still love my 04! )

Re: SWEET pics - 05 G35x (brilliant silver/stone)

those are standard 17" wheels on both RWD and the X models.

the grey interior looks lighter in person, and looks great with the black combo.

Nearly all the materials inside the G35X has upgraded, even the ***** feel "chunky" and solid like my A4's. the Leather is much better than the 04, at least, it makes you feel "premium", although it is still not as impressive as the TL's leather. The real AL inside the car is definitely a better replacement than the fake AL in the 04s. All the upgrades inside the 05 G35 is simply better than the 04's. Overall, I think the 05 has really reduced the gap between A4, BMW 3-series, TL, and C-class, in terms of OVER-ALL built quality. In fact, the Intelligent key is simply a more "useful" gadget than the TL's Nav thingy, which I am not impressived by it at all.

However, it gives me a feeling that the 05 G35 is "acting like" a German, which it isn't (what am I talking about?). I think it should keep some more Japanese heritage in order to outshine the EU cars.

I'm looking forward to the M45, and the future of G35. I hope Infiniti can find it's own direction, instead of competiting with the Germans as their primary target.

btw, checked out the new RL yesterday, and is stunned by the 49K price tag. It has no exterior design at all, but the salesman did say the TLs and RLs are selling very well. They didn't have any 04 TLs left, and only got 2 05 TL in the lot.

Wow very nice, still a few things i dont like, like the 17's, they should have put the stock coupe 18's on it, they look too squished! Umm and the front doesnt look that aggressive anymore, but still beautifull =)
