G35 Sedan V35 2003-06 Discussion about the 1st Generation V35 G35 Sedan

Indecisive: 18" or 19", no lip but a little concave... for a sedan?

I love my rims but they have been discontinued for a few years so you'd have to find a used set. I'll post a couple of pics so you can see what a simple design that starts at the rim and concaves in a little looks like.

mo you can find a better wheel :-/
The check isn't written yet! What do you consider better?

28 lbs... Yikes!
Yeah, I rolled it over in my head last night and decided that it's too much. Imagine what the 19x9.5s weigh...

The main difference between running a 19 and 18 falls on how much tire you want to see, the side profile. You can run a 18 with a low side profile but that will make your car lower which works on a +3" drop.
I'm with ya on that, but I'm going to keep it around the stock outer diameter. I've had coupe 18s and coupe 19s on the sedan, but still had the same O.D.

So you would rather run the same size front to rear? I was just trying to think of tires sizes. What offsets?
Ideally, front and rear would be same so I can rotate them. Tires would most likely be 245/40/19. Offset choices are 45 and 35, I was going to run 35s and run through my collection of spacers.

I vote for 19's.
I'm running 19x8.5+25 (could probably use a 10mm spacer), 19x9.5+30 with the Nismo S-Tune suspension so it's about a 1.5" drop.

Ooh those are sexy, do they come in 19s??

I also like the new Vossen CV3 a lot, but some of the crap I've heard about Vossen's customer service and other things makes me re-think giving them any of my money. Here they are on an Audi, there is a black G37 that has them but his pictures disappeared today or I would have used one of his.

18 tires will be cheaper. for 18s to look good, you will need an aggressive stance more than 3"+ drop and flushed wheels.

there was a thread with a bunch of 18in wheels but i cant seem to find it anymore or i really suck at searching... haha

For me i would prefer 18s. I don't think you have to be dumped or slam to get a nice look unless your really looking for the agressiveness in the stance.

Oh come on!
Have you driven on 20's? I can honestly tell you that my ride on 20's now is no different than the previous sets of 19's I had. I can feel that the 20's are heavier, but the ride is identical. Then again it could be the O.D thats messing with me.

gotta agree those are one of the best 19 inch wheels I've seen.
Totally my kind of rims. Not to try hard and still look clean.

Between these and the M45 19 oem enkei's I'd have a real hard time deciding which to have on the g35.

EDIT: Here's the link to an IPL G37 with the CV3's on them.
That car looking like the bee's knees.

The key to maximizing the size of a rim (any size) is to get a rim that has the spokes pulled all the way to the lip of the rim. I've seen many 19s that look like 18s, 18s that look like 19s, etc. A rim like the Nismo LM GT-4 is a prime example. It doesn't look like a 19" rim because the spokes terminate into blocky rim lip therefore making the circumference appear smaller.
