I have an 04 with 200K plus. A car with only 115K from just about the same year as mine would probably have been used fairly lightly. At 115K, my car was all good. I say get that thing. I would still try to get some price knocked off but I would have confidence enough to buy it. BTW, I'm assuming that you got the edmunds.com or kelley blue-book or NADA numbers already and that their numbers each say about 10K is a fair price.

I will be daily driving it. 25 miles each way.
get it or something else with lower mileage?
As long as it is in good condition and you can't find any signs of it being used carelessly I would say this is a good deal. I doubt you'll be able to negotiate it down much. GLOriginally Posted by Boma

It looks like it's in pretty good shape. Enough to pay a visit.

Provided it's in good condition, I wouldn't hesitate... although I would make the dealer think I was worried about mileage, just to use it as a bartering tool Originally Posted by Boma

Car looks to be in great shape all around. I would definitely bring up the fact that it has failed emissions twice in the past though. This coupled with the high mileage could possibly bring the price down some more.

What kind of emissions test do they do where this car failed? What do you think failed it? Did it have emissions controls malfunction or throw a code or something? Or was there an actual tail pipe test or something? My 04 with 200K has never failed on me. (Watch this be the year now that I have said that.)Originally Posted by incubus3612
