And she still looks fly! We're close to the end of a week of heavy rain and when it quits I'll put the Gloss Coat/Opti-Seal on and finish my exterior detail on the GTO. I have been feeling like a kid who got told on Christmas he had to wait a week to open his presents lolol.

Our G is creeping up on 150K and still runs like a champ.

I just bought the car for 600 bucks. Body is in pretty good shape(8 out of 10) and runs like a top. New project car. Lots of changes comming.

Funny enough compression rods... 1 replacement.

Stick with OEM's !

I changed it originally once and i went the "advanced auto" route. within 2 hours i went back to the dealer to get OEM's. the ball joint is just so inferior with the cheap-o's.

as for engine / trans work...

I have been one of the crash test dummies if you would call it that with the 03 G35 Sedan's down here in South Florida.

Since the purchase of the vehicle I was plagued with overheating issues, trans issues, and such. I was literally chasing 1 problem after another and they were all overheating related.

Long story short I have been through 1 engine swap, 4 transmissions.

Transmission 1.... Grenaded @ Palm Beach International Raceway
Transmission 2.... Had an issue with oem oil cooler causing the transmission
Transmission 3.... Crank Angle Sensor failed and caused the transmission to go from 3rd
to 2nd to 4th to 1st to 3rd and it was just sporadic. I was tired and
honestly didn't care and exploded the clutches.

Trans 4... working just fine... banging on a desk with a baseball bat
