Ok I'll admit I leased it first, so I used to switch out the speedometer..but the donor speedo wasn't out of a car with nav, so some video options didn't work. I decided to buy the lease out and after awhile didn't bother spending 45 minutes switching
Doesn't show whats on the car
Drivers side
Rear...best damn car I've owned in 40 years
it out for inspection. There's honestly 50k more on the car....want to buy a non nav speedo with about 160k on it?

Well trans fluid is like 80% detergent and full synthetic. The dipstick is hidden and and bolted down with a10mm screw. Kinda seems like they don't want you to mess with it. Car never overheated and they say after driving that long, if its not slipping and shifting funny...leave it be.Original coolant too. Just add if needed.

Oh yeah, once you get past the point of no return, whatever that may be, you don't want to change it out. A friend of mine's girlfriend hadn't changed the oil on a pick up truck she owned for something like 70k miles.
Original coolant too? Holy ****, that is nutz! I'd say your nutz except for the fact that you've gotten away with it which in retrospect may make me and everyone else that's serviced these things nutz.
Good stuff fully!

Most folks who don't change fluid end up with a failed valve body at 180k or so.
You could go without changing your power steering fluid as well if you are so inclined, then you get to replace the rack & pinion prematurely, same thing with differentials, cooling systems, the entire motor. Fluid breakdown is only prevalent on the motor oil itself because of the extreme temperatures it's subjected to, everything else is replaced because it carries a lot of contaminants that have worn off of moving parts.

Yeah, yeah, there's different reasons one should change the various fluids and lubes. Thanks for the edumacation. Reads like you thought fully was full of it with the first word in your post being "Nahh", as if in rebuttal to my reply to his response.
Anywho.......So fully, did you change the engine oil? What about the diff? How bout the brake fluid?

Hmmm just engine oil every 10-15k and plugs every 100k...maybe an ounce or 2 to the rear last year while doing the wheel bearings.(looked like something might of leaked out the axle seal). By the way I've read that some guys actually drop the axles from the rear when replacing...just need to take the nut and a few bolts off. Easy and cheap.

Nice. I have an 03 with 98k miles
Change;
engine oil annually and added an oil c.c. and pan magnet last year
tranny & transfer case fluid a few years back and again last year after installing a trango shift kit
front & rear diff fluid twice
brake fluid every couple years
coolant twice
power steering twice
It does make sense that one can get away without changing fluid. I've gone far and above the typical change process myself, to the point where I go after the sludge that remains on the bottom of the oil pans and diff's. When I replaced my radiator early this year, there was some extra shitty coolant that came out only after I removed the old rad and dumped it out.
This sludge, if left alone, might very well act like a magnet in that when the vehicle is at rest, the heavy particles form and settle into this sludge, hence the potentially damaging particles do not recirculate. Then considering the climate one lives in (and as I commented on your lush landscape I'll assume you don't live in the desert) will make a potentially dramatic difference as well. Decent levels of humidity, no drastic change in temps through the seasons, relatively flat streets, no exposure to road salt yearly and driving like a reasonable human being among other things will preserve the mechanics.
Just spit ball'n.
