I just put these on 6 months ago. They are the best tires I've tried. I have the 225/45r19 up front and 245/45r19 in back on factory coupe rays. They are great in the rain. I tried them in a little slush but got them late winter so I missed the chance to really try them out in the snow.

Sumitomo HTR A/S PO1.
These tires are only $103 (215/55R17) and per TireRack's own testing, took first place against the Michelin Pilot Exalto and the Yokohama Avid Envigor. I've been extremely happy with numerous sets of Sumitimo tires on my G35, Maxima, and even my wife's 07 Outback. I'm actually running these high performance HTR PO1's on the Outback because I wanted to dramatically improve the handling and braking over the POS Bridgestone Potenzas that came on the car. The change was remarkable.
I will be replacing my ill-wearing Falken Ziex's 329's with a set of these HTR A/S PO1's in the fall. I'll be going with the 225/50R17 size though to get a bit more meat on the rim.

I originally had Yokahama YK520's.. nice and smooth rollers, but after the first of the year went to the Continental Extreme DWS's... awesome tire.. the G runs like it's on rails in the dry.. and is very grippy in the wet... handled very nicely in the Central Ohio snow we had this year... yet nice and quiet on the road... awesome tires FTW!!

Central Ohio here also. Gotta ask what size you put on. They don't make them in my size 225 55 17 for my '08 g35x. I tried the Cooper CS4, but after my second rebalance, they are going back(45day return). 60mph and up, the noise and vibration was unbearable. Turning up the radio didn't help as it was a different pitch. The tires were amazing in the water, but can't live with the noise(I tried).
I am now looking at the primacy or conti dws. My hierarchy is Ride comoft/noise, handling in wet/snow, ...

Bridgestone Turanza Serenity -- hard to beat for a great balance of those qualities.
If you are willing to give up bad-weather performance, smoothness and quiet for even higher smooth, dry road traction; consider the Bridgestone RE970; but the Serenity is hard to beat for year-round use on typical city streets.

I have stock 17 Kumho Ecsta Platinums. Have 7000 miles on them now. Been very pleased with the tires. Bought and installed at Tire Rack for less than $500. The original Eagle GT's lasted me 28,000 miles. Lot of tread life left on the Goodyears but had to get rid of them because of dry rot.
