Read my edit. The 4.2 shares the same motor as the B7 RS4. Its quick, but for "supercar" status, that V8 never had a chance with the other guys.

And no I didn't push it to the limits. I got on it a few times and I was impressed, but I was still wanting more.

They got it right by stuffing that V10 in there.

it was the first time I ever saw one in person... I rubber necked like it was a celeb (which I rarely even second look at)... I felt really bad for the driver 'cause it was at 605/405/22 exchange (locals know how horrible that section is)... 17:00 going 15mph... he.she was keeping 3 cars length (rightly so)...

I'm in love with that damn thing! (prior to today, my dream was a Bentley GT and/or LFA... now all I want is that R8!).

Man I love Audi. When I bought the G, I was actually torn between it and a B6 S4. But with the known reliability issues that Audi has, I couldn't justify getting the S4.

I know the G has its issues, but I can handle the minor things...Audi is prone to electrical problems.

And I hate chasing electrical ghosts lol

My daily is an 04 A4 S-Line and its had its share of problems too :/

Only thing that keeps me from spending big money on an RS4 or S4

^^^ yep, I always liked the looks of the A4... I was visually intrigued by it when it came out - but the analytical part of me immediately shut it down... it's why I don't have an M3.

For a track toy I really want an NSX... I like what is, (relatively) uncommon... but if I could spend the way I really want it would be that R8 (I couldn't justify an LFA even if I could afford... but then again, I haven't driven it )

I need to get my head out of the clouds and by a moped.

But I really am (and have been) targeting an NSX

Audi makes some of the best looking cars on the road. It really is too bad they have a reputation for being unreliable.

As for the R8, I've never seen one in person, but a member on another board I frequent just took delivery of his last month. I would love to drive one.

Also, I love the tails on the new M as well. The styling of the whole car is pretty out there, but there's something about it that makes me stare everytime.

Coincidentally... no more than 5 minutes after seeing the M37s, there was an R8 in my rear view mirror (left lane)!!!! That car is B!TCHEN!!!!! I very, very rarely give thumbs-up, this car got one! (too bad I was in an F-150 and I dont even know if he/she saw the kudos; real dark tint windows)...

The rest of my drive home - two sides of my brain were fighting about whether I should try to have one of those

At that point the G37s seemed like a 1980 Passat
+1 Audi was what came to mind first too.

I like my '06 tails, once I find a way to delete the extensions to the trunk and move the reverse light to inside the brake rings. I really like the 1st gen. coupe tails also.

I ran into (not literally) silver one on the DNT the other day said V10 on the side, at 100 we stepped on it and he flew past me like i was slamming on the brakes! It was stupid fast.

05 and above G tail lights on the sedans are the best, along with the M tail lights before this new model... The circular tail lights seem like a Nissan/Infiniti thing and they should stick with it IMO..

You're still young. When you're older and wiser, you'll learn to appreciate fine German engineering...

Yea, and then I am getting a Mercedes AMG. None of this slow Audi stuff. LOL If I am gonna pay to play, I am gonna pay to play on something that will do a burnout for 3 blocks.

I thought they looked very camry-ish at first glance as well. They look good though, but not great (see: nothing special).
& Saying that Nissan/Infiniti hasn't made good looking tails in the past 10 yrs Although beginning to get dated with all the abstract shape led tails that are coming out (which are mostly ), the G tails are still sexy as hell and when they came out (less than 10 yrs ago) they were that hot ish.

<edit> Looked at the rest of the m37 pics, Holy 4x4! & the front looks like an oversized maxima :meh: Almost looks like a small suv @ some angles </edit>
