I need help deciding on coils
^I know exactly what you're talking about. Actually the exact reason I haven't bought coils yet. (Started the new job on 7/18)
I'm still not sure if I'll get these, or if I really can get the MDUs for only $100 more after shipping/tax/etc... I may just go that route simply for the warranty factor.

Its like buying springs, you will aways want some more lower, and better ride comfort, I personally sugest the Bc, because you have more adjustability range, and comfort range. they last a long time. they are alittle more, but you can find a pair for about $900 if you look hard enough

Visit your local chapter of Modaholics Anonymous, might work better for you than it has for me. Just pissed me off to be told no more, so I went off the deep end.
Here's a link to a great thread for you to get ideas of what we think about our set-ups, no need to clutter this thread with the same information: https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-...ew-thread.html
And if you're waiting on Ash to get coils and tell us how he likes them you must still believe in Santa Clause and the Tooth Fairy.

I've decided on the regular MDUs from Texas (not pirates) because of the warranty.
Now it's just a matter of deciding if I buy those next, or a 1977 280z.

I got duped into voting - didnt realize the thread was four months old til after I clicked "other"

FWIW, I wouldnt suggest used suspension no matter what brand - just like I wouldnt buy used tires... and the pirates are untested, but doesnt mean they arent worthy - I'd just skip it since they arent a name brand that is trusted.
Having that been said, looks like you made your decision (sorta)... buy the coilovers, not the Z... I had a '76 280, it will be a money pit - and lord knows you dont need another one of those!

I agree with Mike.
Out of all the money I've spent on parts, I've only bought 4 pieces brand new and coilovers were one of the 4. I would never buy used coils, don't know how much life might be left in them.

^Kind of a random decision? Not even mentioned in this thread lolz, never heard of them.
If I was going to vote, I'd say BC. They have a great rep start to finish, and have actually managed to keep the cost down. You can get a set for under 1k shipped if you shop around. These were selling for 650-750 in the first few years of production so it's pretty simple to get them cheaper. Price is only up because they've proven themselves and have a rep now. Although I have a lot of hunting to do before deciding, I'm fairly confident in getting them for my G this spring/summer.
I do hate that the rear has to be unbolted to adjust though. Not sure about the front. Ima miss my Tein SS off the Maxima, those coils are incredible and so easy to adjust.
obviously doesn't matter now though! You've ordered already?

^Wasn't "random"
These are essentially the 'Pirates' MDUs, but they're a revised version and sold by a company in Texas that gives a good 1yr warranty (as opposed to the gamble when ordering from China on eBay)

Ahh thanks for clearing that up for me sorry dude. good deals man look forward to hearing your reviews on these.
^No worries
And yes, I'll definately be putting these through their paces... I intend to AutoX on them and take them on the Dragon's Tail
