Hey guys sorry to bump an old thread.

I am also in the market for some coils. I dont want a huge drop, around 1" is all. I want something stiffer and more responsive than stock.
My driving involves city, and highway. The car will be drag racing as well as Auto Cross.
I would like to keep price around 1300 or under.

Ive looked at the Megan racing street version, its about $850 shipped with 10kg front 8km rear. Is that too soft for my applications? Anyone recommend anything else?

Thanks

if all you want to do is drop it one inch. you probably wouldnt need coils, I would just get z revised springs or eibach pro kit. but if you plan on going lower. save money and get the coils . I heard bc were good.

you can spend about ~$150-200 on 350z stechs (or any other brand of springs) and minimize fender gap big time. Since you don't want to be slammed, I think that might be a good option for you especially since it costs a fraction of the price.

I found coupe h-techs for $80 locally and had them installed. I will be using them until I buy coils.

Thanks guys. Il look into the springs for sure.

They will stiffen up the ride too? I find my stock "sport tuned" a bit soft.

If your over 70000 I would check your shocks . Shocks more so will stiffen the ride not the springs

I think il be checking out the Tein S Tech lowering springs. They seem like a good fit for what I want. 1.2" drop front and 0.9" drop rear for around $220 shipped... Not bad.

I ended up going with MDUs from TopSpeed.

Now if I can ever get my car out of the body shop, I'll install them

Watch your shocks, they will wear fast with the S Techs. Also get ready for a stiff ride, I had the S Techs before my coils and wasn't happy with them at all.
