engine idle 1300 rmps GRRRR!!!

hey guys, my engine is idling cold at 1300. But when it warms up it drops down to normal at 750. I put in a spacer last year and it rose to 900 and the idle volume relearn did not help at all. so i just said screw it to the 900. But now after putting in my k&n filter its up to 1300!! What do I do? Does it even matter since it drops down to 750 when its warm? I have a feeling 1300 is not good. the idle volume relearn is unsuccessful at droping the rpms.

Im sure lots of you have had problems like this, how did you fix it? Thanks!

1300 RPM on cold starts sounds normal to me. IIRC mine was around 1500 rpm on startup, then would drop to about 600 rpm once the engine warmed up. That was only when it was really cold outside tho.

1300 sounds correct! I have the spacer injen CAI (cold ari intake) and alot of other mods 1200 to around 1450 depending on the weather. If you are having a rough idle rumbling or vibration coming from on the engine or any SEL light then you have a problem. IMO your fine

Are all the warning lights still on?

If so you may need to clear them...

Also check your fuses.
