So after work today my key fob just stopped working , so i decided to buy a new battery for it and FAILLLLL...i must of programmed the thing a million times and all it does is unlock my doors

So i just ordered a new remote from ebay and i hope it solves the damn problem because i hate not being able to use my remote or hear my horn when my car locks { i love that sound }

but yeah KEY FOB WTF ?

 

Same thing happened to me on my old car. Except I was too cheap to buy a new one, I still find myself sticking the key into the door from time to time now.

 

is this an intelligent key you are talking about? if so, buying one on ebay will =====fail, too. It will have to be reprogrammed at a dealer.

 

No I have a 03 sedan I'm pretty sure the intelligent key is for the newer cars .. Plus I progammed this same key fob myself I'n the past and it worked fine

 

there is a horn when you lock the door? i have a 04 and i never hear any sound, jus see the lights flashing when i lock the doors lol

 

^^ press the lock and unlock buttons on the fob to turn the horn on.
