Automatic Seats

Hey guys. I have an 06 Infiniti G35X and when I used to turn off the car the seat would move back to give me room to get out. It has recently stopped doing this.

I have a Auto/Manual button which is set to Auto and neither the 1 or 2 buttons do anything even after trying to set a position. Is it a common problem for this feature to just give out or do you think its as easy as a loose plug?

I apologize in advance for being a noob

Does the seat move back and forth using the manual buttons?

SOmetimes, the plastic seat gear breaks, but if this was the case, it wouldn't move in any situation

Yes I can still manually move my seat back and forth etc with the 4 buttons on the right of my seat.

Anyone ever have this problem?

There actually might be a fuse for the memory seat function. I don't have my manual to check this for you right now

Try disconnecting the battery and then plug it back on and set your code again.
