Black Headlight Housings + Stock Chrome Grill

Was thinking of getting the headlight housings painted black, but want to leave the grill stock/chrome. What are your thoughts? I still have the chrome trim around my car so it wouldnt be completely out of place. Or is it "do both or do neither"? (I am not planning on doing a complete blackout on my car. )

use some plasti-dip for your grill. if you dont like it, you can always take it off.

I voted neither. Looks clean the way it is.

If anything, the finish of the grill matches the wheels.

I'm usually all about black headlights and grill... but on OB all that black just kinda gets lost and there's no contrast. I actually like it the way it is, and clear corners would look good (IMO)

If you do decide to do some more black, leave something for contrast.
For example, headlights: leave the little ring right around the rim of the bezels chrome... grill: leave the emblem chrome, etc...

Another option might be to talk to see about a black chrome process of some sort, but that may very well end up being expensive, IDK.

But like others have said, it really does look clean the way it is.

i agree with the contrast. My car is basically an xray image of yours. Thats probably why ive left it this way and havent already done it all these years. its staying the way it is.
