04 Sedan front bumper question

I was wondering what the differences of the Aero bumper and 04 sedan bumper are. I know the aero doesnt fit without an 05 hood lights fender etc but what is the difference on the actual bumper? Is it just the contour around the headlights and grill or is mounting also different? I'm sure this has been asked before but when I searched the FAQs I didnt see anything.

As far as I know there is no '05 Aero bumper. The Aero bumper was the '03-'04 Nismo. The '05-'06 was just the stock bumper.

You are correct though, the '05-'06 front bumpers will not fit an '03-'04 without changing the hood, headlights, grille and possibly front fenders (the fenders may not need to be changed). I'm pretty sure it's just the shape that's different because I've seen at least one '03-'04 Sedan with an '05-'06 bumper installed.

Ok..... you are confused.

2003/2004 front end parts (aside from fenders) Do not fit 05/06 cars.

2003/2004 cars had two options of bumper

1. The OEM non aero

2. The OEM aero AKA the Nismo

2005/2006 cars had an option of 1 bumper and an OEM front lip.

1. OEM bumper, no lip.

2. OEM bumper, With lip

Thought the 05-06 bumper was called the aero bumper and the 03-04 oem aero was the nismo...thanks for cleaing up my misunderstanding. Reason im asking this is because I can get an oem 05 bumper for next to nothing and was wondering where the fitment issues would be....I assumed just around the grill hood and headlights but was unsure if the mounting points were the same or not.

In order to run it on your car you'd need to swap headlights (05-06 headlights run $900+ each from the dealer, no eBay version), hood, and grill.

One of the vendors is supposed to be coming out with HikkataDori style bumpers in poly.

If you don't plan to go low just buy a kurookie or glass bumper.

And don't hate on the ebay lights, I bought them for my projectors and the quality isn't half bad. I was expecting some real **** but they're actually nice lol

I do have some buddy's with other cars that get lucky with ebay stuff sometimes and actually get really good quality. I almost grabbed a second pair of oem lights off of ebay at a good price to bake and paint myself but I decided not to at the time and as for fiberglass I have a fiberglass bumper my cars on BC coils I'm not slammed but its kinda low and I scrape bumper alot of places.
